First, What is Argan Oil?
Argan oil is a plant oil pressed from the nut of the fruit of the argan tree, which is only found in Morocco. The argan tree lives to be about 150 to 200 years old and does not start producing the fruit until it is 30 to 50 years old. Because the tree is found only in a limited area, and the process to extract the oil is delicate, the oil itself is quite rare.
Benefits
Argan oil has a number of benefits when used on hair. It can act as a moisturizer for the scalp to fight dandruff and dry scalp. It can also promote the growth of healthy, strong hair, taming frizz, promoting shine, giving you more manageable hair. It’s non-irritating and reverses much of the damage done by artificial chemicals and treatments. Vitamin E is also found in the oil which contains antioxidants, helping boost cells to produce healthy hair.

Frizzy Hair, Dry Ends: Argan oil is a great product to calm frizzy ends, add moisture to dry hair adding shine. Apply to your hair while it is still damp for an allover treatment or apply just to your dry ends after styling.
Dealing with a Dry Scalp: If you’re planning to wash your hair the following morning, the night before, apply a few drops of argan oil to a cotton ball and dab on scalp. This will allow the oil plenty of time throughout the night to moisturize your scalp before washing it in the morning.
